Texas City NGL Marine Dock Operations
Original Operations Team | Texas City NGL
In October 2026, I joined Marathon Pipe Line as an Operations Technician on the original operating team for its new Texas City NGL marine dock facilities.
Joining during the development of a new facility offers a unique opportunity to learn operations from the ground up, develop technical expertise alongside the infrastructure, and contribute to a strong foundation for safe and reliable long-term operations.
My focus is on operator qualification, operational readiness, process safety, and developing the knowledge and discipline required to support successful startup and sustained operational performance.
Profile
I am an industrial operations professional based in the Houston–Galveston area, currently serving as an Operations Technician with Marathon Pipe Line.
My professional background began in marine transportation and petroleum and chemical cargo transfers, where I developed hands-on experience with marine dock operations, transfer systems, equipment lineups, product movement monitoring, operational documentation, and industrial safety.
Those experiences provided the foundation for my transition into terminal operations at Marathon Pipe Line.
Today, I am focused on becoming a highly capable Operations Technician while continuing to build expertise in energy infrastructure, process operations, and operational leadership.
I believe the strongest operations professionals combine technical knowledge, sound judgment, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
My long-term focus is on growing into positions where I can help develop people, improve operations, and lead high-performing teams.
